Springbank 1997 Springbank Society / 180th Anniversary

Bottled to mark the 180th anniversary of Springbank distillery, this release was only available to their Society members.

The whisky itself is a marriage of refill sherry butt #18 which was filled on 23rd May 1997 with refill sherry hogshead #28 which was filled on 7th May 1993. Bottled in September 2008, this is one of 850 bottles.
